Uttarakhand Corona update 18 September: More recoveries than cases detected today
In Uttarakhand, 868 corona infection cases were reported in 24 hours on Friday. At the same time, the number of infected in the state has crossed 38 thousand. Today, 1285 patients have returned home after recovering.
This is a record of patients recovering for the first time in Uttarakhand. In a day, more infected patients were cured than new corona patients were found. For the first time in 188 days (six months) of corona, more infected patients have recovered from new corona cases. Earlier, on September 16, the number of patients recovering was 1192, but Corona-infected cases were 1540.
According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department, today 11267 report has come negative. Today, Dehradun district has the highest number of 359 patients. 161 in Udhamsingh Nagar, 106 in Haridwar, 83 in Nainital, 32 in Pauri, 29 in Bageshwar, 26 in Almora, 21 in Chamoli, 19 in Uttarkashi, 10 in Tehri, 9 in Pithoragarh, 9 in Champawat, 6 in Rudraprayag. The number of patients has increased to 38007.
Transition rate higher, recovery rate lower
The spread of coronavirus is increasing rapidly in Uttarakhand. The state’s infection rate in September is higher than the national rate. While the recovery rate is low. In Unlock-4, more than 1.75 lakh people have been screened from September 1 to 17. In this 17256 people were found corona positive. At the same time, the recovery rate is also less than 70 percent.
