Uttarakhand Corona update: 949 new cases on 26 September

Along with the rapidly increasing graph of corona infection in Uttarakhand, the number of people recovering is also increasing continuously. On Saturday, 1007 patients have recovered, while 949 new cases have been reported. The highest number of them are from Dehradun. Apart from this, 178 cases are from Haridwar, 92 ffrom Almora, 80 from Pauri Garhwal, 65 from Nainital, 63 from Udham Singh Nagar, 59f from Uttarkashi, 48 from Pithoragarh, 37 from Champawat, 15 from Chamoli, 12 from Tehri Garhwal, 3 from Rudraprayag and 2 in Bageshwar have been reported. At the same time, 11 corona infected patients have died. The number of infected in the state has now increased to 46281. However, 34649 of these have been fully recovered. At present 10856 cases are active, while 566 have died. Apart from this, 210 patients have gone out of the state.

According to information received from the Health Department, on Friday, a test report of 8145 samples has been received from different labs. In which 7217 cases have been reported negative. Dehradun has the highest number of 203 people infected. At the same time, the investigation report of 173 people in Nainital, 117 in Udham Singh Nagar and 107 in Pauri have come positive.

13 patients died

The death toll of corona infected is now increasing rapidly. On Friday also 13 patients died in the state. Two patients each died in Doon Medical College Hospital and Synergy Hospital in Dehradun and one each in Kanishka Hospital and Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. At the base hospital, two corona-infected patients succumbed. Two patients died in Haldwani’s Dr. Sushila Tiwari State Hospital and in a private hospital in Rudrapur. At the same time, one patient died of corona in AIIMS Rishikesh. 555 corona infected patients have also died in the state.

74% recovery rate reached

It is reassuring among the increasing cases of corona that the recovery rate is also constantly improving. The recovery rate has reached 74.21 percent. Among the patients discharged on Friday, 542 are from Dehradun, 383 Udham Singh Nagar, 176 Haridwar, 99 Nainital, 86 Bageshwar, 40 Uttarkashi, 34 Chamoli, 33 Tehri, 19 Pauri, 18 Pithoragarh, 16 Almora and 2 from Rudraprayag. 8082 tests were done across the state on 26 September. The corona positivity rate in Uttarakhand is 7.17 percent as per latest government health report.
