National Snowboarding Championship to be held in Auli in February 2021

If you are also fond of snow skiing then get ready. Senior National Alpine Snow Board and Cross Country will be organized in Auli in February. The dates of February 2 and 3 have been set for the event.

Ski and Snow Board India has given permission to the Ski and Snow Board Association of Uttarakhand for organizing the competition. The event will be completely dependent on snowfall. Auli Slope is also one of the select slopes in the country for skiing sports.

National level sports of skiing are organized here every year after snowfall. This year also the State Ski and Snow Board Association Uttarakhand has got permission to organize national skiing competition in Auli.

Association’s District President Vivek Panwar says that the Senior National Alpine Snow Board and Cross Country 2021 will be organized in Auli. The permission of Ski and Snow Board India has also been received for this. Preparations for the competition event will also be started soon.

Satpal Maharaj will inaugurate ice skating rink in Auli

Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many development schemes during the tour of the districts. He will inaugurate the ice skating rink at Auli and lay the foundation stone of the Cooking Gas Agency at Badrinathdham.

Media in-charge Nishish Saklani told that the tourism minister will visit the districts from November 2. After reaching Tehri on Monday, he will first meet with officials and workers. After that, he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate various development schemes of the irrigation department.

After meeting BJP workers in Tilwara on November 3, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several schemes of the Department of Irrigation and Tourism in Rudraprayag district.

This will be followed by the inauguration of the ice skating rink at Auli, the foundation stone of the cooking gas agency construction work at Badrinath Dham, the development work of Teet Deolibgarh under the centrally funded scheme and the memorial near Simli in memory of Baba Mohan Uttarakhandi on November 4.
