Total corona case count goes past 68000 in Uttarakhand
After 296 new cases of corona were reported in Uttarakhand on Saturday, the number of infected people has reached 68,002 across the state. It is a matter of concern that the process of death of the infected is not taking stopping. Yesterday, five corona infected have died in the state.
According to Health Bulletin of 14 November issued by the Health Department, 21 corona patients have been found in Almora, 05 in Bageshwar, 23 in Chamoli, 03 in Champawat, 109 in Dehradun, 23 in Haridwar, 34 in Nainital, 21 in Pauri, 03 in Pithoragarh, 06 each in Rudraprayag and Tehri, 31 in US Nagar and 11 in Uttarkashi district.
The number of active cases in the Garhwal and Kumaon divisions of the state is 4417. The department is trying to identify the infected and quarantine them. A total of 164 patients in the state have recovered from corona infection. All these patients are now fully healthy and discharged, while the number of recovery cases is 61,896.
So far, 1102 patients have died due to infection in Uttarakhand. A sample report of 3937 people came negative on Saturday. The recovery rate of corona infection in Uttarakhand has been 91.02%. The department is involved in identifying the suspected Corona patients so that the virus can be eradicated from the root.
