Uttarakhand corona update: 482 positive cases on November 25

The outbreak of corona is also increasing as winter progresses. Not only the infected, but also the death toll is now challenging. The death graph is also increasing every day in the private &  government hospitals identified for the treatment of corona patients. On Wednesday also 12 corona-infected patients died in the state.

The first case of corona in Uttarakhand was reported on 15 March, while the first death occurred on 1 May. Since then, the graph of death has steadily increased. This number has increased rapidly since September. Recent mortality remains a cause of concern for the system as well. On Wednesday, three patients died in Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital and Doon Medical College Hospital. Apart from this, one patient died in AIIMS Rishikesh, Velmed Hospital, Dr. Sushila Tiwari State Hospital, Himalayan Hospital Jolly Grant, District Hospital Gopeshwar and Kailash Hospital. So far, 1185 corona infected patients have died in the state.

According to the Department of Health, on Wednesday, 10261 sample reports were received, of which 9779 reports are negative and 482 positive. Corona has been confirmed among 157 people in Dehradun district. There are 59 new cases in Nainital, 50 in Haridwar, 47 in Pauri Garhwal, 44 in Pithoragarh, 41 in Chamoli, and 23 in Udham Singh Nagar. At the same time, 15 people have been found infected in Tehri Garhwal, 12 in Rudraprayag and Champawat, 10 in Almora, seven in Uttarkashi and five in Bageshwar. So far 72642 people have been infected in the state. Of which 66147 have become healthy. There are currently 4658 active cases. 652 patients have gone out of state.

Government withdraws relaxation in weekly off

The relaxation on the weekly off given on the festive season has now been ended. After the corona transmission regained momentum, the district administration has issued orders to strictly enforce the closure of the market. Only establishments / shops related to essential commodities will be allowed to open on this day. Talking about Dehradun Tehsil (Sadar), the markets will remain closed on Sunday.
