Uttarakhand daily Corona update: 512 cases on November 20
On Friday, 512 new cases of Corona have been reported in the state. A total of five patients have died. The total death toll has reached 1138. There are currently 4051 Corona positive active cases in the state. While the number of total positive patients has reached 70205.
According to Health Bulletin of Health Department, 16 cases were found positive in Almora, 14 in Bageshwar, 45 in Chamoli, 12 in Champawat, 204 in Dehradun, 39 in Haridwar, 43 in Nainital, 35 in Pauri, 27 in Pithoragarh, 20 in Rudraprayag, 23 in Tehri, 22 in US Nagar, 12 in Uttarkashi. On Friday, 585 patients recovered.
The 10994 sample report came out negative. 13048 samples were sent for testing. 17685 sample reports are yet to come. The recovery rate has now reached 91.72 percent. The infection rate has reached 5.73 percent.
On Friday, one patient died at Sushila Tiwari Medical College Haldwani, one in Doon Medical College, one in AIIMS Rishikesh, one at Base Hospital Srinagar, one at Medicity Hospital Rudrapur.
Over 200 patients a day in Doon, patients increasing continuously after Diwali raise concerns
The number of corona patients is steadily increasing after the festive season. In such a situation, there is a dire need to take precautions. On Friday, the figure of infected a day in the district reached 200. Whereas before the festive season, it was running below hundred and after the festive season, more than hundred patients have started coming forward.
According to the Health Bulletin, on Friday, 204 people reported positive in the district. The total number of patients has increased to 19710. However, more than 18 thousand have been cured. The number of testing in the district has also been continuously increased as a precaution. Samples have been taken for investigation of 2637 people in the district on Friday. At the same time, two people died due to corona infection in the district.
