3.9 magnitude Earthquake strikes near Haridwar
Earthquake tremors have been felt in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. This caused a stir in the surrounding area. People came out of the house after the earthquake. At the same time, the streets became crowded for some time. This affected traffic. According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake intensity on the Richter scale has been measured at 3.9.
On November 10, a report came in which said that there was a danger of major earthquake in Uttarakhand. In view of this danger, the scientists had issued a warning. According to the scientists of the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, there is huge activity in the lower part of the earth about 45 km from the new Kailash Mansarovar road connecting Uttarakhand’s Dharchula with the Lipulekh on the China border. Scientists revealed large amounts of micro and medium intensity earthquakes in Dharchula region and areas around the Kumaon Himalayan region. Along with this, geological stress and geological structure was also discovered in the area.
