NSE above 15300; BSE crosses 51000 ahead of monthly expiry

On Wednesday, in the domestic stock market, the bulls were seen in great enthusiasm and bought fiercely. Sensex-Nifty closed at record level. BSE Sensex closed at the upper level of 51,017.52 today with an increase of 379.99 points i.e. 0.75 per cent. At the same time, NSE Nifty closed at the upper level of 15,301.45 with a gain of 93 points i.e. 0.61 per cent. Out of 30 stocks of the BSE, 22 closed with gains, 8 declined. At the same time, 31 stocks saw an increase on the Nifty 50. Today, most of the purchases have taken place in the shares of realty and IT companies. At the same time, the stocks of companies in metal and power sector were the most under selling pressure.

The rise in these shares

The stocks in the green in BSE were Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, Infosys, M&M, Maruti, HDFC, Tech Mahindra, LT, TCS, Sun Pharma, Titan, Asian Paints, ICICI Bank, HCL Tech, Hindustan Unilever, Axis Bank, Bajaj Auto, Ultratech Cement, Nestle India, Reelance, IndusInd Bank and ITC. At the same time, the power grid was the worst performer. The company’s stock has seen a decline of more than 3 percent. Besides, shares of NTPC, ONGC, Kotak Bank, Doctor Reddy, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel and SBI closed down.

TOP-5 gainers and loosers

Today’s top gainers on the NSE were shares of Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, Infosys, Grasim and Wipro. At the same time, the shares of power grid, Hindalco, JSW Steel, Tata Steel and NTPC ended in the red today ahead of the May series expiry.

Shares in 3,281 companies traded

Shares of about 3,281 companies were traded in BSE today. Among these, shares of 1,956 companies rose and shares of 1,181 companies declined. Today’s total market cap was more than 2 crore 19 lakh.
