Uttarakhand corona update: 14 cases found on September 7
In Uttarakhand, 14 new corona infected have been found in the last 24 hours. At the same time, one patient has died. While 21 patients were sent home after recovery. The number of active cases has reached 371.
According to the bulletin issued by the Health Department, on Tuesday, the investigation report of 19646 samples has come negative. While not a single infected patient has been found in five districts of Almora, Bageshwar, Pauri, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi. On the other hand, one each has been reported in Chamoli, Haridwar, Pithoragarh, Tehri and Udham Singh Nagar, two in Champawat, four in Dehradun and three in Nainital. So far, the total number of corona infected in the state has increased to 343139. Of these, 329327 people have been cured. A total of 7389 people have lost their lives due to corona in the state.
On the other hand, 72 thousand 661 people were given corona vaccine. So far, 68,32,935 people have been given the first vaccine of corona in the state. Both doses have been given to 22,24,121. In the age group of 18 to 44, so far 4,74,203 have been given both the doses of the vaccine.
Corona case comes up again in Tehri after becoming infection free
A patient has been found infected in Tehri district on the second day of the district becoming corona infection free. The number of patients in the district has reached 15,293. No case of corona infection was found in the district after 26 August. On Monday, Tehri district became free from corona infection. CMO Dr. Sanjay Jain said that on Tuesday, corona infection has been confirmed in a person from Chamba block. There is only one active case of infection in the district.
