Total corona cases go past 75000 in Uttarakhand
On Tuesday, 473 new corona patients were found in the state and seven infected people died. With this, the total number of patients in the state has reached 75268 while the death toll has reached 1238.
According to Health Bulletin released by Health Department, 32 in Almora, 14 in Bageshwar, 43 in Chamoli, 10 in Champawat, 164 in Dehradun, 40 in Haridwar, 24 in Nainital, 26 in Pauri, 51 in Pithoragarh, four in Rudraprayag, 25 in Tehri, 24 in US Nagar while 16 cases were from Uttarkashi district.
An infected patient died at Haldwani Medical College on Tuesday, two at Military Hospital Pithoragarh, one at Mahant Indresh, one at Doon Hospital and one at Base Hospital Srinagar.
After recovering from various hospitals of the state, 538 patients were discharged. With this, the total number of cured patients in the state has increased to 68, 365.
While 4947 patients are being treated in various hospitals. After the recovery of more than 500 patients on Tuesday, the number of active patients in the state has come down to 4947.
On Tuesday, around 14,000 samples from various hospitals of the state were sent for examination. Reports of more than 11 thousand samples came and reports of more than 16 thousand samples are yet to come. The recovery rate of patients in the state has been 90.83 percent while the infection rate has been 5.57 percent.
