Uttarakhand daily corona update: Over 600 cases found in last 24 hours

Corona has again started showing its color in the changing season. Not only are new cases increasing, but the number of people who lose battle against Corona is also increasing every day. On Tuesday, 632 cases of corona have been reported in the state. The total number of corona infections has reached close to eighty thousand. It is reassuring that more than ninety percent of those infected so far have been cured.

According to information received from the Health Department, a total of 16133 sample reports have been received from private and government labs. Of which 15501 sample reports have been negative. Like everyday, most people have been infected in Dehradun district. The report of 279 people here is positive. The spread of corona is also increasing in Nainital district. 92 people have been found infected in the district. 54 cases have been reported in Haridwar, 44 in Pithoragarh, 30 in Tehri Garhwal, 27 in Udham Singh Nagar, 22 in Almora, 18 in Uttarkashi, 17 in Chamoli, 15 in Pauri Garhwal, 14 in Bageshwar, 11 in Champawat and 9 in Rudraprayag. Till date 79141 people have been infected in the state. Of which 71541 have become healthy. There are currently 5399 active cases, while 894 patients have gone out of state.

Twelve more patients died

Corona mortality in Uttarakhand continues to be a cause for concern. The number of people who lost their lives due to this disease has reached beyond 13 hundred. So far, a total of 1307 patients have died in the state. Twelve patients died on Tuesday as well. Four of these patients died at Kailash Hospital in Doon. While three patients succumbed to Dr. Sushila Tiwari Government Hospital in Haldwani. District Hospital Bageshwar, Sri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Synergy Hospital, Himalayan Hospital Jollygrant and Doon Medical College Hospital have also died one patient each from Corona.

436 patients recovered

As of Tuesday, 436 patients have recovered in various districts. These include 149 from Dehradun, 88 from Nainital, 45 from Pithoragarh, 39 from Almora, 34 from Haridwar, 25 from Tehri, 23 from Rudraprayag, 11 from Chamoli, 10 from Uttarkashi, 8 from Champawat and 4 patients from Pauri. The recovery rate in the present state is 90.40 percent.
