Uttarakhand daily corona update: 61 cases on 31 January

Uttarakhand seems to be getting success in the war against Corona. Not only the rate of getting new cases is low, but the burden of active cases is also getting reduced. It is reassuring that in eight districts of the state active cases are in double digits. Not only this, the death toll of corona patients is also somewhat controlled. This relief continued on Sunday as well. 61 people have been infected in the state. While no new case of corona has been reported in seven districts.

According to the Health Department, 7194 sample test reports were received from private and government labs. Of which 7133 sample reports have been negative. Dehradun has the highest number of 28 people infected. Apart from this, reports of 12 in Haridwar, 10 in Nainital, 9 in Udhamsingh Nagar and one each in Rudraprayag and Champawat have come positive. So far 96129 people have been infected in the state. 91966 of which have become healthy. At present there are 1175 active cases, while 1344 patients have gone out of state.

Death of a patient

During the last 24 hours, a 53-year-old man admitted to the Himalayan Hospital Jollygrant died during treatment. So far 1644 persons have died due to corona in the state. The corona mortality is 1.71 percent.

86 patients healthy

The recovery situation in the state is now quite good. Every day more patients are getting healthier than new cases. During the 24 hours, 86 patients recovered in different districts. These include 63 from Dehradun, 22 from Nainital and one from Uttarkashi. The recovery rate is currently 95.67 percent.
