Uttarakhand daily Corona update: No new case found in 5 districts
In a great relief news not a single new corona patient was found in five districts of Uttarakhand on Sunday. This is the first time in the last nearly six months that not a single corona infection has been reported in many districts of the state. According to the report released by the health department, not a single new corona patient has appeared in Almora, Bageshwar, Pauri, Pithoragarh and Tehri districts on Sunday. While one case was found in Uttarkashi district, three each in Rudraprayag and Champawat and six patients in Chamoli district.
9 of the 13 hilly districts of the state, there have been very few cases of infection. Whereas in four plains districts Corona infection cases have been reported. However, compared to the previous days, there is a steady decline in infection in the plains districts as well. On Sunday, maximum 59 have been found in Dehradun, 16 in Nainital, 13 in US city and 11 in Haridwar. After a long time, so few patients have been found in the state in a day. According to the Health Bulletin released on Sunday, two admitted in Doon Medical College, one in Mahant Indresh, one in Himalayan Hospital died during treatment.
One infected died while hospitalized at Kailash. On Sunday, only about five thousand samples were sent from various hospitals of the state for examination. More than eight thousand reports were received, while about seven thousand sample reports are yet to come. The rate of infection in the state is 4.78 percent while the recovery rate of patients has been 94.46. 98 people admitted to various hospitals of the state were discharged after recovering. The number of patients recovering from this has been 89552. While 2354 people are being treated in hospitals.
Rapid decline in corona cases
Total cases of corona declined sharply during the 44th week of the corona period. This week a total of 1293 new patients were found in the state and more than two thousand people recovered after treatment. The death toll of patients this week was also low and a total of 38 people died. If we compare the data of the previous week, there is a sharp decline in the cases of corona infection in the state.
