Students protest against DAV admission form hike to Rs 60

On Thursday, the students protested in front of the principal on raising the fees for college application form fees in DAV PG College. On Wednesday, students cheated the fees from 50 rupees to 60 rupees in the new session in the principal room. However, after a consensus, it is decided to form a new duty only on new charges.

The college administration has increased the fee for the application form by Rs 10 to Rs 60. On this, the student federations raged in the principal room demanding a roll back on the order. However, later Principal Dr. Ajay Saxena and Chief Proctor Major Atul Singh decided to dissuade the students and distribute the same form at the new price. Principal Dr. Ajay Saxena said that after buying the application form in other colleges, merit list of students is issued. But there is a provision to purchase the application form after getting the name in the merit list in DAV. This decision has been taken with the consent of the college administration and student association.
