Uttarakhand corona update: 81 cases found on 27 February
With the increase of Covid investigation in the state, infected cases are increasing. In the last 24 hours, one corona patient died and 81 people have been found corona infected in five districts. The total number of infected has reached 96949, while 29 patients have been sent home after recovering.
According to the data of the Health Department, on Saturday, the investigation report of 14951 samples has come negative. While 81 people were reported positive for corona infection. The maximum number of 42 corona patients has been found in Dehradun district. 29 have been found in Haridwar, five in Tehri, four in Nainital, one in Udham Singh Nagar district. After 27 days in the state, 81 corona infected cases a day have been found. The government has increased sample investigation to prevent infection. On an average, more than 10 thousand samples are being tested every day.
One corona patient has died in the state. In this, a 29-year-old woman died in CHC Munsiyari of Pithoragarh district. So far 1692 corona patients have died. At the same time, 29 patients have been sent home after recovering. With these, 93442 patients have become healthy. Currently 421 active patients are under treatment. The recovery rate of infected patients has been recorded at 96.38 percent and the infection rate at 4.07 percent based on sample examination.
Corona investigation started on the border of Nainital district
In view of increasing cases of corona, people coming from other states are being investigated on the Haldua barrier on the instructions of DM. Dr. Prashant Kaushik, the nodal officer of Covid said that the number of corona patients is increasing in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and other states.
In such a situation, it is important that people coming to Uttarakhand have a corona check. In view of this, on the instructions of DM, corona investigation is being done on Haldua barrier. The health team is investigating the RTPCR investigation and entering names, mobiles, etc. The person concerned will be traced when the report returns positive. On Saturday, 25 people were investigated.
The third phase of the corona vaccination trial will be held from March 1
It is now the turn of the elderly to get vaccinated to prevent corona virus infection. In the third phase, the corona vaccine will be administered to the elderly above 60 years and those suffering from any disease between 45 to 59 years of age. The third phase will be started as a trial in some booths in the state from March 1. Vaccination for the third phase will be done across the state on March 4. After this, the vaccine will be installed at all the selected booths from March 7.
Training is being done through video conferencing for the third phase of vaccination by the central government. According to the guidelines of the Center, in the third phase, the vaccine will be given to the elderly above 60 years and those in the age group of 45 to 59. Those who are already suffering from some disease. For this, the Center has prepared a separate software.
