CM Rawat stresses on negative RT-PCR report for entry in Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat has given strict instructions to the authorities to extend the scope of the RTPCR investigation for effective control of the corona virus. He said that Covid vaccination should be expedited. CM Rawat said that a special campaign should be conducted for vaccination and corona examination in view of the Kumbh mela in Haridwar. Through a video conference on Tuesday, CM Tirath directed the officials to make it mandatory for people coming from Uttarakhand from Corona affected states to bring negative reports. Also, a new guideline has also been issued in this regard.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat instructed the officials through video conference to speed up RT PCR test and vaccination for effective control over Covid. In view of Haridwar Kumbh, a special campaign should be conducted in Haridwar for vaccination and RT PCR test. Expressing concern over the increasing cases of corona in the state, the CM said that in the places where the cases of corona are increasing, containment and micro containment zones should be created in those places and special attention should be given to immunization so that the corona virus can be contained.

The number of corona patients in Uttarakhand doubled in the previous week compared to the week before that. A total of 1204 new patients were found in the state during the 54th week since the disease was first reported. This number is the highest number found in a week in the last nine weeks. A total of 557 new corona patients were found in the state in the 53rd week of the Corona period. While the number of patients reached 1204 in the 54th week. During this week close to five hundred people were discharged from hospitals after recovering and five people died.
