6251 corona cases reported in Uttarakhand on 29 April
There were record cases of corona infection in Uttarakhand on Thursday. 6251 new infected patients have been found in the state within 24 hours. At the same time, 85 patients have died. Also, the number of active cases has also crossed 48 thousand. Today 3129 patients were discharged after recovering. So far, 1,74,867 infected patients have been found in the state, out of which 1,20,350 patients have recovered.
According to the report of the Health Department, on Thursday, the test report of 28346 samples has come negative. While Dehradun district has the highest number of 2207 corona infected patients. At the same time, 1163 cases were in Haridwar district, 673 in Nainital, 827 in Udham Singh Nagar, 253 in Pauri, 163 in Tehri, 150 in Rudraprayag, 33 in Pithoragarh, 195 in Uttarkashi, 198 in Almora, 125 in Chamoli, 107 in Bageshwar and 157 in Champawat.
Meanwhile, the number of containment zones in the state has now increased to 219. The number of active patients in the state has reached 48318. 2502 patients have died so far due to Covid-19 in Uttarakhand. The recovery rate in the state is 69.52 percent.
