791 Corona cases reported in Uttarakhand on 6 April
On Tuesday, 791 new corona patients were found and seven patients died in Uttarakhand. With this, the total number of corona patients in the state has increased to 103602. While the death toll has reached 1736. According to Health Bulletin issued by Health Department, on Tuesday, a record 303 new patients were found in Dehradun district while 185 in Haridwar, 107 in Nainital, 75 in Tehri, 45 in Pithoragarh, 41 in US Nagar, 11 in Bageshwar, 6 in Almora. Three new patients have been found in Chamoli, two in Champawat, one in Pauri, five in Rudraprayag and seven in Uttarkashi.
On Tuesday, three people admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh, one admitted to Kailash Hospital, one to Himalayan Hospital, one to Haldwani Medical College and one infected patient admitted to Synergy Hospital died. After treatment, 351 patients admitted to various hospitals of the state were discharged from the hospitals. The number of people recovering from this has crossed 96 thousand. While the number of patients in hospitals and home Isolation has reached 3607.
Ten new Containment Zones created in the state
According to the bulletin, ten new containment zones have been created in the state on Tuesday. As of Monday the number of containment zones in the state was 14 which has now increased to 24. Maximum 12 zones have been created in Dehradun, 8 in Nainital, 3 in Haridwar and 1 containment zone in Tehri Garhwal.
On Tuesday, the number of positive patients in the state was much higher than on other days, but the test reports of samples have also been found in large numbers. Around 35 thousand samples have been sent from all over the state for investigation and 17 thousand reports are yet to come. The rate of infection in the state is 3.59 percent while the recovery rate of patients is 93 percent.
Vaccination of more than 60 thousand in one day
As the corona outbreak is increasing in the state, the number of vaccinators is also increasing. On Monday, more than fifty thousand people were vaccinated in the state. According to the health department, on Tuesday, a total of 60,214 people were vaccinated against Corona. The number of first vaccine users in the state has reached eight and a half lakhs. While one and a half million people have both recieved dosed. On Tuesday, maximum 647 booths were used for vaccinations.
