Less rains in winter lead to increased fire incidents

In Uttarakhand, the weather plays a big role in forest fires. With the rise of mercury, the incidence of forest fires approaching the villages is worrying. Everyday forests are being damaged. In this difficult time, collective efforts are needed to save the forest. Although the Forest Department, which is facing shortage of resources, talks about public participation, but it has failed to gather support. Now the time has come for common man to be associated with fire management to save the forest. For this, by training the villagers, their participation in saving the forest can be ensured.
