43rd Reliance AGM: 5G services could be launched by next year

At the annual general meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), the company’s head Mukesh Ambani made an important announcement on Wednesday. He told that 5G technology can be launched by next year. Ambani also told that search engine company Google has invested Rs 33,737 crore in Jio’s platform. This happened for the first time in the history of RIL, when people attended this event online. Shareholders became part of it through the JioMeet video conferencing app. Earlier, the annual AGM of Reliance was organized with great pomp and a large number of people were involved in it.

While presenting JioMart, Isha Ambani said that this technology will turn the existing grocery stores into self-stores within 48 hours. The Customer Experience will also be completely changed. She told that Jio Mart will not only help the grocery stores to increase business, but will also increase earnings. About JioMeet, Isha Ambani said that it is a cheap and extremely secure video conferencing app. It is designed keeping in mind the needs of real life.

Isha Ambani and Akash Ambani gave the demo of the new Jio TV Plus. Jio TV Plus will bring Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar and other OTT platforms on one app. Apart from this, it will also be equipped with voice search.

Jio also introduced Jio Glass. This device weighing just 75 grams will have services related to Virtual Realty. It will connect with a single cable. It will have 25 apps, which will help in video meeting with AR technology.

Reliance chief Mukesh Ambani said that Jio will add half a billion mobile customers in the coming three years. Jio has developed complete 5G technology. He told that as soon as 5G spectrum becomes available, its trials will start. This technology can be prepared by next year for use in the field.

Ambani said that Reliance has now become a net debt-free company in the true sense. According to Ambani, this target was achieved before the deadline of March 2021. The Reliance chief said that the company’s strong balance sheet will help growth plans for the company.

Ambani also informed about Google’s participation in the Jio platform. He told that Google will invest Rs 33,737 crore in the Jio platform.

Mukesh Ambani said that Reliance became the first Indian company with a market cap of $ 150 billion. Ambani expressed confidence that India and the world will progress rapidly amid the Corona crisis. He said that every difficulty brings with it many possibilities.
