Over 3000 corona cases found in 1 day in Uttarakhand

On Tuesday, 3012 new corona patients were found and 27 infected people died in Uttarakhand. With this, the total number of corona infected in the state has reached 1,29,000. While the death toll has reached 1919. According to the Health Bulletin released by the Health Department on Tuesday, 999 cases were from Dehradun, 796 in Haridwar, 565 in US Nagar, 258 in Nainital, 137 in Tehri, 66 in Almora, 13 in Bageshwar, 24 in Chamoli, 28 in Champawat, 80 in Pauri, 28 in Pithoragarh, 12 in Rudraprayag and 6 in Uttarkashi district. On Tuesday, a total of more than 26 thousand samples were sent from various hospitals of the state for examination and reports of about 28 thousand samples came. The rate of infection in the state is 3.81 percent while the rate of recovery of patients is close to 80 percent.

Active patient crosses 21 thousand

The number of active patients is increasing rapidly due to the ever increasing infection of the state. According to the Health Bulletin released on Tuesday, the total number of patients admitted in state hospitals and staying in Home Isolation has reached 21014. Although on Tuesday, 737 people admitted to various hospitals were discharged after recovering, but the pressure of the hospitals could not be reduced at all due to the availability of more than three thousand new patients.

66 thousand vaccinated

More than 66 thousand people were given corona vaccination on Tuesday in Uttarakhand. With this, the number of those taking a vaccine dose in the state has reached close to 14 lakhs. Whereas more than 2,72,000 people have also taken both vaccine doses. Dr. Kuldeep Martolia, the nodal officer and immunization officer of the state said that there is a lot of enthusiasm among the people about the vaccination in the state and efforts are being made to vaccinate a large number of people.

27 patients died in the state

On Tuesday, 27 patients admitted after infection in various hospitals of the state died. Of these, nine patients died in Haldwani Medical College alone. While a patient died in an ambulance in Tehri district. Eight of the patients who died on Tuesday were under the age of fifty and were admitted to hospitals for treatment after a corona infection.

Number of Containment Zone increased to 106

The rising infection rate in the state can be gauged from the fact that a large number of new containment zones are being created every day. As per Tuesday’s bulletin, there are a total of 106 containment zones in the state. Of this, 47 containment zones are in Dehradun district alone. In addition, nine Containment Zones have been set up in Haridwar, 35 in Nainital, three in Pauri, five in Uttarkashi, one in US Nagar, five in Champawat and one in Chamoli.
