Fake Corona testing in Mahakumbh: Police files FIR

Police has registered a case in the fake corona testing case in Kumbh. An FIR was lodged against the private company in Haridwar city Kotwali on behalf of CMO Haridwar. The Chief Medical Officer gave a complaint in the city Kotwali that a complaint has been received from a person that his Aadhaar number and mobile have been used in the rapid antigen test.

Whereas during Kumbh, he has not given any such sample.  It is alleged that 3 private labs have cheated the state by making fake entries at various locations outside Uttarakhand. Senior Superintendent of Police Senthil Avudai Krishnaraj S said that the investigation has been started after registering a case on the complaint of the CMO.

After the investigation of this matter in Dehradun at the government level, orders were given to the Haridwar District Officer to investigate. After which a three-member inquiry committee was formed by District Magistrate C. Ravi Shankar. Late night orders were given by the District Magistrate to register a case in this matter.
