Heavy rain forecast in Uttarakhand for next few days
A warning of heavy rain has been issued in many places in the mountains of Uttarakhand for the next few days. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain and strong winds in the high altitude areas, due to which the administration is also alert. At the same time, for the last few days, there is snowfall in the areas at an altitude of 15,000 feet. The weather changed in Hemkund Sahib after 12 noon. The doors of Hemkund Sahib have opened on Sunday, but since afternoon there is continuous snowfall.
Talking about Badrinath Dham, the rain in afternoon has increased the cold. It is snowing every day on Neelkanth Parvat and Nar Narayan Parvat. There is a possibility of rain and snowfall in Badrinath Dham for the next few more days. After the alert of the Meteorological Department, the departments are on alert, because the journey of Char Dham is at its peak. So far, more than 2.5 lakh pilgrims have visited Lord Badri Vishal and there is a continuous gathering of pilgrims in Badrinath Dham.
On the other hand, the road is likely to be closed near Balduna bridge and Lambagad slide, as stones are falling here due to light rain. Regarding this, the administration has given instructions to NH to deploy JCB machines on the spot. Instructions have also been given to start work on the spot immediately if the road is obstructed, but now the preparations will have to be seen by the administration on the ground.
