Corona curfew extend till July 27 in Uttarakhand; RTPCR report not necessary for interstate travel

Corona curfew has been extended in Uttarakhand for another week. Along with this, many relaxations have also been given. Giving information about this decision of the government, Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal said that now the requirement of negative report of corona test has been abolished for movement from plain areas of the state to hilly areas. Apart from this, the market opening hours in the state have been changed from eight in the morning to nine in the night.

Earlier the opening time of the market was from eight in the morning to seven in the evening. Apart from this, permission has also been given to open water parks, cinema halls, multiplexes with 50 percent capacity. He said that air traffic has also been exempted, persons who have applied both the doses of corona vaccine have been allowed to come to Uttarakhand by air. The remaining provisions of the Covid curfew will remain the same as are currently in force.

Only 50 people will be allowed to attend the wedding ceremony and funeral procession. While all educational and training institutions will remain closed for the time being. Online classes or distance learning will be allowed. At present, the coaching institutes will run with 50 percent capacity. Social, political, entertainment, educational, cultural activities will remain closed for the time being. All gyms will open with 50 percent capacity.

There has been a decline in corona infection in the state, but in view of the possible third wave of corona, the government does not seem to be in a slackening mood. Strict instructions have been given to the district administration by the government that the Covid guidelines should be strictly followed. Fines should be deducted for people walking without masks. After the cancellation of Kanvar Yatra, strictness is being done by the police-administration on the UP-Uttarakhand border. No Kanvarias are being allowed to come to Uttarakhand from any state. For this, the government is also focusing on awareness. Strict action is also being taken on tourists in the state to curb the corona virus.
