Active corona cases in Uttarakhand come down below 600

On Monday, 37 new cases of corona were reported in Uttarakhand. At the same time, 71 patients defeated Corona. No new case of corona has come in two districts. Whereas in 11 districts the figure has been in single digits. The good thing is that no patient has died of corona for the last six days. But the backlog genie is out once again. One death from Haridwar, which took place in the month of May, has now been recorded in the record.

According to the Health Department, investigation reports of 22,815 samples were received from private and government labs, out of which 22778 reports have come negative. The maximum number of nine people have been found infected in Dehradun. Apart from this, six people have been found infected in Udham Singh Nagar, five in Almora, three each in Haridwar, Nainital, Pauri and Pithoragarh, two in Chamoli, one each in Bageshwar, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi. No new case of infection has been reported in Champawat and Tehri. Till now there have been 3,42,198 cases of corona in Uttarakhand. In which3,28,224 people (95.92 percent) have become healthy. Presently there are 574 active cases in the state. While 7363 patients have died so far.

Vaccination pace picks up in August

Now vaccination is also going on at a good pace in the state. During the last 24 hours, 728 centers across the state vaccinated 86,476 people. Till now, the first dose of vaccine has been given to 46,21,509 people in the state. While 14,62,728 have received both the doses. In the age group of 18-44, 21,75,932 have received the first and 58,546 people have received both the doses.
