A yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain in Uttarakhand on August 14 and 15. According to the Meteorological Department, on August 14, heavy rain may occur at isolated places in Chamoli, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Nainital, Champawat and Dehradun. Light to moderate rain may occur at some places over the mountainous regions of Kumaon on 17th. The maximum temperature was 30.7 and the minimum temperature was 25.5 degrees Celsius. Light to moderate rain, thundershowers are expected in Doon on Saturday.
