Over 1000 Corona cases found in Uttarakhand for second consecutive day

For the second consecutive day in Uttarakhand, more than one thousand corona infected patients have been found. 1015 people have been found to be corona infected in Uttarakhand today. 521 patients recovered today. At the same time, five corona-infected patients died. Now the total number of infected has reached 28226.

According to a bulletin issued by the Department of Health, the test report of 10387 samples has come on Thursday. Of these 9372 sample were negative. At the same time, today, most of the patients (275) have been found in Dehradun district. 248 in Udham Singh Nagar, 157 in Haridwar, 58 in Pauri, 41 in Pithoragarh, 30 in Rudraprayag, 24 in Almora, 24 in Chamoli, 21 in Tehri, 18 in Bageshwar, 18 have been found infected in Uttarkashi. No infected has been found in Champawat district.

Today, five corona patients have died in the state. The death toll from Corona has risen to 377. At the same time, 521 Corona patients were sent home after treatment. Together, 18783 patients have been cured so far.

Situation alarming in 4 districts

Coronavirus has become uncontrollable in the plains districts of the state. In a single day, 798 corona patients have been found in Dehradun, Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar and Nainital district. The number of patients recovering is less than that of infected patients. With this, the total number of active patients in the state has been 8955.

Infection rate increased by 1.31 percent in one month

Corona infection is increasing in the state. The infection rate in the state has increased by 1.31 percent within a month. At the same time, the recovery rate is less than 70 percent. The number of active cases is increasing as the number of patients recovering from newly infected patients is increasing. Treatment pressure is increasing on hospitals.

The first case of corona infection was found in the state on 15 March. Since then, 4.60 lakh people have been screened. More than 27 thousand people were found infected. The government’s focus is to increase sample investigations to prevent corona infection. Investigation of Covid-19 samples has increased in the state compared to earlier. On an average, nine thousand samples are being sent for examination every day. As the testing intensifies, the graph of the infection rate is increasing.

A month ago, where the infection rate in the state was 4.62 percent. The infection rate has now crossed 6 percent. Secretary Health Amit Singh Negi says that the Covid testing has grown considerably compared to earlier.
