There is good news for the devotees waiting for the operation of Kedarnath Heli service. Booking for heli service has started from today. From today you can book for Heli service fot Kedarnath. This has been confirmed by Swati Bhadauria, CEO of UCADA. UCADA CEO Swati S Bhadauria said that online booking of Kedarnath heli service will start from September 28 and heli service will start operating from October 1. The Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) has completed the preparations for the operation of the heli service. Last year the heli service could not be operated due to Covid. After booking in advance last year, suddenly the second wave knocked, after which the operation of the heli service was stopped. But now that everything is becoming normal and Corona is also under control, the operation of heli services in Kedarnath Dham is going to start again.
Heli service will start from October 1. Pilgrims can book online on the website http://heliservices.uk.gov.in for booking. On the orders of the High Court, the government started the Chardham Yatra from September 18. As soon as the journey started, preparations were also being made for the operation of heli services. UCADA had completed the preparations for operating the heli service even before the opening of the doors of the four dhams in May. Heli services are to be operated from Guptkashi, Sirsa, Phata helipads. Online booking of heli service was started in March this year itself. About 1100 pilgrims had also booked online, but due to the ban on Chardham Yatra, the booking was canceled and the money of all the passengers was refunded.
