Social Distancing, not emotional distancing is the need of the hour says PM on Mann ki Baat

Seeing the danger of coronavirus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a 21-day lockdown in the country. Since then, barring essential services, the entire country everything has been shutdown. Prime Minister Modi has apologized to the people of the country on Sunday in ‘Mann Ki Baat’ for having to take such tough steps.

Doctors’ sacrifice and dedication

Prime Minister Modi appealed that social distancing means increasing physical distance and decreasing emotional distance. The Prime Minister said that social distancing does not mean creating distance of mind from each other, but keeping the physical distance, preventing the infection from spreading to others and also protecting oneself from infection. He said that it does not mean mistreating an infected person or someone suspected of infection.
