Traffic to be diverted on Saturday due to Home Minister’s visit in Doon

Traffic will be diverted at many places in the city on Saturday due to Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Doon. He will attend a public meeting at Bannu School. Apart from this, he will will attend the program in the IRDT auditorium.

SP Traffic SK Singh said that during his visit, barriers would be placed at Jollygrant Airport Trijunction, Bhaniyawala Trijunction, Kargi Chowk, Garhi Cantt. Other traffic will be diverted according to their fleet.

According to the police, city buses and Vikrams will be diverted on short-term basis during the tour of the VVIPs. There will be zero traffic zone on the road at the time of their arrival and departure.

There was a briefing in the police line on Friday evening to be alert during the visit of the Home Minister. During this, DIG Garhwal Range KS Naganyal and DIG Dehradun Janmejay Khanduri gave necessary directions. They directed to keep a watchful eye on persons moving around VVIPs.
