Traffic plan issued for heavy vehicles, small vehicles in Haldwani ahead of Diwali

In the festival season, especially during the Diwali days, long queues of vehicles are seen on the roads, due to which handling the traffic is a very challenging responsibility. Haldwani Police has prepared a complete traffic diversion and parking plan till Diwali. SSP Nainital Preeti Priyadarshini said that big vehicles will not get entry in the city till Diwali. They have to go to their destination through other routes. With this, in view of the crowd, even small vehicles will not be able to enter Haldwani’s market. Parking is the biggest problem during the festival season. In view of the problem of parking, temporary parking has also been made at some places. Mini sports stadium has also been made a parking lot.

According to the SSP, big vehicles will not ply in the city till Diwali. In view of the festivals, it is necessary to maintain the traffic system. In this episode, the big vehicles have been instructed to use the route from Lal dant to Coaltax for commuting to their destination. With this, SSP Nainital said that no small vehicle will be able to enter the area from Nainital trijunction to Mangalpadav. The vehicles of the people coming to the market will also have to park their vehicles in the parking lot. Parking has been made for small vehicles. Vehicles coming from Nainital Road/Kaladhungi Road will be parked at Mini Stadium located near OK Hotel. Parking for vehicles coming from Bareilly Road has been arranged at Laxmi Shishu Mandir Mangalpadav.
