Uttarakhand corona update: 17 new cases on October 9
In the last 24 hours, not a single case of coronavirus infection was reported in five districts. Only one case each was reported in four districts. Overall, in the investigation of 13,630 people, only 17 people were found to be corona infected including an international student in IIT Roorkee. This graph of infection was also only 0.12 percent.
According to the Health Bulletin of the Government of Uttarakhand, maximum six people were found to be corona infected (Covid 19 Positive) in Dehradun. After this, three people were found infected in Haridwar and two each in Nainital and Pithoragarh. No new cases of corona were found in Almora, Bageshwar, Champawat, Rudraprayag and Tehri. At the same time, one case each was found in Uttarkashi, Udham Singh Nagar, Pauri and Chamoli. The total number of active cases in the state has come down to 173 and the recovery rate has reached 96.02 percent.
A total of 343662 cases have come to the fore
A total of 343662 cases of corona infection have been reported in Uttarakhand so far. However, out of these 329984 infected have recovered, while 7396 have died. Apart from this, 6109 patients have gone out of the state. The report of 13613 samples received on Saturday came negative, while 13596 samples have been sent for investigation.
Corona infection confirmed in IIT Roorkee student
Coronavirus infection has also been reported in a student of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, who came to India from Sudan on 28 September. This student is doing MTech from Roorkee. At the same time, other students and staff who came in contact with the student are being traced. However, it is being told that the student was already quarantined. Therefore, the possibility of him coming in contact with anyone is very less.
