Uttarakhand corona update: 19 cases reported on October 8
In Uttarakhand, 19 new corona infected have been found in the last 24 hours. At the same time, not a single patient has died due to Covid-19. While nine patients were sent home after recovery. The number of active cases has increased to 166. Whereas on Thursday there were 156 active patients in the state.
According to the information received from the Uttarakhand Health Department, 15483 samples have been received from private and government labs. Of these, the report of 15464 has come negative. Maximum eight people have been found infected in Pithoragarh. Apart from this, five each in Dehradun and Nainital and one person in Haridwar have been found infected. While no new cases of corona have been found in nine districts of Almora, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Champawat, Pauri, Tehri, Uttarkashi and Udham Singh Nagar.
Corona infection has stalled in the state, but the risk of spreading the infection remains. In view of the festive season, the government has opened everything by removing the restrictions. Preventing infection from this is a big challenge. However, during the festive season, the district magistrates and departmental officers have been instructed by the government to be vigilant to prevent infection. Along with this, strictness has been asked for non-compliance of Covid rules.
