UKPSC issues vacancies for 776 Engineering posts in 9 government departments
Recruitment is out for 776 posts of Junior Engineers in nine departments in the state. Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has started its online application process from Friday. After a long time, such a huge recruitment drive has been taken out through the commission. Click on this link to read notification.
Vacancies in these departments
The commission has invited applications for the 182 posts in the Rural Works Department. Along with this, 49 in Irrigation Department, 39 in Minor Irrigation Department, 21 in Panchayati Raj Department, 79 in Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, 222 in Public Works Department, 9 in Electricity Security Department, 139 in Housing Department and 36 posts will be filled in Agriculture Department. Online applications can be made for all these posts till December 17.
Fee waived for all recruitment applications
No fee will be charged for the application of this recruitment, because after the order of the Chief Minister, the fee of all the recruitment applications is waived. The detailed notification of the recruitment has been released on the website of the commission. Candidates will be given one year relaxation in the upper age limit as per the order of the state government.
Recruitment exam will be held in 14 cities
Junior Engineer recruitment exam will be conducted in 14 cities. For this, the commission has given the option of choosing the examination center to the candidates in Almora, Bageshwar, Champawat, Haldwani, Khatima, Rudrapur, Pithoragarh, Dehradun, Gopeshwar, Haridwar, New Tehri, Rudraprayag, Srinagar and Uttarkashi.
