Uttarakhand corona update: 42 cases found on 25 December

In the last 24 hours, a total of 42 new people have been found corona virus infected in Uttarakhand, out of which 50 percent people have been found positive in Dehradun alone. It is a matter of relief that today 34 people have returned home after recovering. Now, the active cases in Uttarakhand have increased to 237. So far, total 344766 people have been infected with coronavirus in Uttarakhand. Out of which 330920 people have returned home after recovering. Due to one more death today, a total of 7416 patients have died due to this coronavirus infection in the whole of Uttarakhand so far.

Today on 25 December 2021 i.e. on Saturday 21 cases were reported  in Dehradun, 2 in Haridwar, 5 in Nainital, 1 in Pauri Garhwal, 9 in Pithoragarh, 2 in Tehri Garhwal, 1 in Uttarkashi and 1 in Udham Singh Nagar have been found infected with the corona virus.

In Dehradun district today one person has died due to corona infectionNow the death toll due to corona infection in Dehradun has reached 3525.

Omicron Guidelines in Uttarakhand

The government has issued guidelines to stop the spread of Omicron variant. The Uttarakhand government has given instructions to the Director General of Police, all the District Magistrates and other officers. The government has issued necessary guidelines to stop Omicron in the state. In the guidelines issued by the Government of Uttarakhand, it has been said that the provisions of the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India will be followed. In view of the increasing cases of Omicron across the country, social distancing, wearing of masks and sanitization are mandatory in all public places, tourist places, markets, bus stands, railway stations, vegetable markets, shopping malls and other crowded places in the district. Failure to do so will result in strict action.
