Night curfew restrictions end in Uttarakhand

In Uttarakhand, the state government has announced the removal of night curfew. Along with the new Covid guideline in Uttarakhand, other restrictions have also been relaxed. The cases of corona infection in the state are on a steady decline, after which the state government, while issuing new guidelines, has given exemption in most of the cases while continuing with some restrictions.

New corona guidelines in Uttarakhand

1- All gyms, shopping malls, cinema halls, spa, salons, theaters, auditoriums, meeting rooms etc. and all activities related to them will open with their capacity following the Covid protocol.
2- Swimming pools/water parks in the state will remain closed till February 28, 2022. Sports institutes, stadiums and playgrounds located in the state will be opened with their own capacity for the training of players.
3- Persons will be allowed to attend all social/sports activities/entertainment/wedding ceremony/cultural function with full capacity of the venue, during which Covid prevention protocol will be followed.
4- Political rally/dharna demonstration will not be allowed till February 28, 2022.
5-Hotels, restaurants, eateries and dhabas will be allowed to operate Dining according to their capacity and Covid protocol. The activities which are prohibited in the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India from time to time, will not be allowed to conduct the said activities.
6- All government and private schools (from class-1 to 12) of the state will be operated according to the standard practice method issued by the Department of School Education and strict compliance of the said standard practice will be ensured by the concerned.
7- All Anganwadi centers in the state will open from March 01, 2022. Detailed guidelines in this regard will be issued separately by the Department of Women’s Empowerment and Child Development. The conduct of examinations conducted by the Government of India and State Government bodies will be allowed.
8- According to the guidelines issued from time to time by the General Administration Department, Government of Uttarakhand, the presence of employees will be ensured in all the offices of the state.
9- In all public places, tourist places, markets, bus stands, railway stations, Mandi, shopping malls and other crowded places, it will be ensured to comply with covid appropriate Behavior such as wearing of social distance mask and sanitizing hands etc.
10- Target to cover 100% vaccination of all eligible persons in the state.
