Uttarakhand corona update: 20 new cases found in last 24 hours; restrictions to end on March 31

In the last 24 hours, 20 new cases of corona infection have been found in the state. While 21 patients have recovered. No corona infected patient has died. At the same time, the infection rate has been 0.44 percent. According to the information received from the Health Department, 4556 sample test reports have been received from private and government labs.

Of these, the report of 4536 samples has come negative. Maximum ten people have been found corona infected in Haridwar. Four people have been found infected in Dehradun, three in Pauri Garhwal and one each in Tehri Garhwal, Nainital and Almora. While no new case of corona has been found in seven districts of Chamoli, Bageshwar, Champawat, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, Udham Singh Nagar and Uttarkashi. Here, 5105 samples from different districts have been sent for corona testing.

All restrictions of Corona will end in the state too

According to the decision of the central government, now the state government is also going to end all the restrictions imposed in view of corona infection. Its orders are likely to be issued by Friday. However, the requirement of a safe distance of six feet and wearing of masks will remain in force.

The Central Government has decided to remove the restrictions applicable in all the states after March 31 to check the spread of corona infection. In this episode, the Union Health Ministry has written a letter to all the states asking them to take steps according to the status of the rate of corona infection in the state.
