Devotee numbers at Chardham decreases

Even before the monsoon, the number of pilgrims in Chardham Yatra has started decreasing. In the peak time, where 18 to 20 thousand devotees were reaching Badrinath, Kedarnath, now this number has reduced to seven to ten thousand per day. Yatra registration has also come down by 50 percent. Between June 5 and 10, 18 to 20 thousand devotees were reaching Badrinath Dham every day for darshan, while 20 to 22 thousand registrations were being done every day for the Yatra only for the visit Badrinath. Now seven to ten thousand devotees are reaching here every day. On Tuesday, 7210 devotees reached Badrinath Dham.

In the initial days of the yatra in Kedarnath Dham, from 20 to 22 thousand devotees were reaching for darshan. Now this number has come down to eight to nine thousand. On Tuesday, 8437 devotees reached here for darshan. Where earlier up to 35 thousand registrations were being done in Kedarnath Dham, now only 12 thousand registrations are being done. In Gangotri Dham also, the number of passengers reaching for darshan has come down from 12 thousand to 6 thousand. Whereas the registration is also decreasing from 18 thousand to only 8 thousand.

The number of offline registrations also fell

For Chardham Yatra in Rishikesh and Haridwar offline registration is no longer the same as before. Only 410 devotees registered in Haridwar on Wednesday. Only 300 devotees reached for offline registration in Rishikesh. Whereas earlier pilgrims were being returned here.
