In such a situation, common people take a lot of time to reach Dehradun and they are dependent only on road transport. Along with this, a lot of money has to be spent on coming by car and taxi etc.
He had asked whether the state government had taken any initiative in this regard. In response to this, Transport Minister Chandan Ramdas said that the proposal has been sent to the Central Government thrice so far by the State Government. . However, this proposal has not yet been approved.
