Gate 2023: Registration process to begin from August 30

The application process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2023 (GATE 2023) is starting from August 30. Students who want to apply for GATE 2023 can apply by visiting the official website of GATE IIT Kanpur https://gate.iitk.ac.in/. The application portal for GATE 2023 will be closed on 30 September.

GATE 2023 exams will be held on this day

GATE exam will be conducted by Kanpur, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Kanpur) on 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th February 2023. The admit cards for GATE 2023 will be issued on January 3 on the official website of GATE IIT Kanpur at gate.iitk.ac.in. Students will be able to download their admit card by visiting here. Students will need their registration number to download GATE 2023 admit card.

How to apply for GATE 2023

1. Students first go to the official website of GATE 2023 at gate.iitk.ac.in.
2. After this, register yourself by visiting the home page and get the login credentials.
3. Now start filling the application form by submitting the credentials.
4. Upload all the necessary documents asked while filling the form.
5. Now finally after paying the application fee click on the submit button.
6. You must download your application form and take a printout of it and keep it with you for future.

GATE 2023 to be conducted in CBT mode

This year GATE exam will be conducted for 29 subject papers. The exam will be conducted in two shifts on February 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2023 in CBT mode. All the test papers of GATE 2023 examinations will be completely optional type.

Who can apply

A student who is currently studying in the third or higher years of any undergraduate degree program or has already completed a government approved degree program in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Science / Commerce / Arts, will be eligible to appear for GATE 2023 exam.
