Jet airways passengers suffer nose bleeding after crew fails to control cabin pressure

Jet Airways flight from Mumbai to Jaipur escaped from a major accident. Due to a mistake of crew members, the flight had to turn back from Mumbai in the middle of the journey. The crew members forgot to maintain pressure switch of the cabin due to which the incident happened.

There were about 166 passengers on the flight. Due to this mistake of crew members, nearly 30 passengers started bleeding from the nose and ears. Apart from this, many passengers also complained of headaches. All the treatments are going on at the Mumbai airport. Later the passengers were flown from the second flight. It is being told that when the flight was returned, the aircraft was at an altitude of 14000 feet.
Jet Airways flight 9W 697 was flying from Mumbai to Jaipur. During which the cabin crew forgot to turn on the cabin pressure switch, which did not cause air balance in the cabin. DGCA has removed crew-members from the roster after the incident. Two pilots have also been removed.
After this incident, a statement from Jet Airways has been issued. Jet Airways said that the flight was brought back to Mumbai after the incident, during which the flight had 166 passengers and 5 crew members. The passengers who have suffered are being treated. A statement has also been issued on behalf of the Ministry of Civil Aviation. The Ministry has sought a report from the DGCA on this matter.
