Uttarakhand corona update: 346 cases found on 2nd August
On Tuesday, 346 new corona infected have been found in Uttarakhand while three patients have died. The infection rate of corona has also increased to above 11 percent. Cases of corona infection are increasing rapidly in Dehradun.
According to the information released by the Health Department, out of 346 new cases reported on Tuesday, maximum 188 are from Dehradun. Apart from this, 53 were found in Haridwar, 40 in Nainital, 21 in Uttarkashi, 8 in Almora, 7 each in Pauri and Tehri, 6 in Udham Singh Nagar, 5 each in Bageshwar and Chamoli, 3 in Rudraprayag, 2 in Champawat and 1 in Pithoragarh. While three corona infected patients died. These include one patient each from AIIMS Rishikesh, Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital and STGH Haldwani. On Tuesday, 35,178 people took the corona vaccine in the state.
Corona infection rate 11.91 percent
The rate of corona infection is also increasing rapidly in the state. On July 2, the rate of corona infection in the state was 3.21 percent, which increased to 6.95 on July 15. On Tuesday, the infection rate was recorded at 11.91 percent.
