Uttarakhand corona update: 87 new cases found on 22 August

Cases of corona infection have started decreasing in Uttarakhand. Within the last 24 hours, 87 new infected have been found in seven districts of the state. While 51 patients have been cured. An infected patient died on Monday. At the same time, the number of active patients is increasing. At present, 907 active patients are being treated in the state. Whereas on Sunday there were 880 active patients in the state.

According to the Health Department, the investigation report of 2166 samples has come negative on Monday. At the same time, out of 87 cases, maximum 52 cases are from Nainital district. 26 infected patients have been reported in Dehradun, 2 in Haridwar, 1 each in Almora, Pauri and Tehri and 4 in Pithoragarh.

Whereas in Bageshwar, Chamoli Champawat, Rudraprayag, Udham Singh Nagar and Uttarkashi not a single infected patient has been reported. At the same time, a patient has died in the Government Doon Medical College Hospital. Along with this, the recovery rate of the state was recorded at 95.23 percent and the infection rate decreased to 6.91 percent.
