Uttarakhand weather update: Rain alert for 3 districts

There is a possibility of heavy rain during the next 24 hours in Nainital, Chamoli and Bageshwar districts. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert. Along with this, the officers related to the government, district administration as well as disaster management have been asked to remain vigilant for 24 hours.

Director of Meteorological Center Vikram Singh says that during the next 24 hours, people living on the banks of rivers, streams in Nainital, Chamoli and Bageshwar districts as well as people in landslide prone areas need to be careful. Along with this, light to moderate rain may occur in other districts of the state as well.

At the same time, the coolness has increased in Mussoorie due to intermittent rains for some time. It rained heavily in the area on Friday morning as well. Due to which, as the cold increased, there was fog everywhere. Due to which the speed of the vehicles also slowed down. Due to the rains, there has been a reduction in the number of tourists in the hill town. It has been raining intermittently for the last few days in Mussoorie.
