Uttarakhand Corona update: CM Dhami visits booster dose camp in Secretariat

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the camp set up for booster dose at the Secretariat on Friday. He has appealed to the people of the state to get booster dose done. Regular camps will be organized for this. For effective control over the Covid 19 pandemic, the campaign to apply booster dose has started in the state.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had instructed the health department officials to set up camps for booster doses from Friday. He said that the Covid control rooms established in all the districts should be activated. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a meeting at the State Secretariat on Thursday following the guidelines issued by the Union Health Ministry regarding the control of the Covid pandemic.

The Chief Minister said that genome sequencing should be done for all the new cases of Covid that come up. The Uttarakhand government has also become alert due to the introduction of new variants of Corona in the country. To prevent corona infection in the state, it has been made mandatory to wear masks in crowded places from Friday.

Two corona infected cases found in the state, most patients in home isolation

Two new corona infected have been found in the state on Thursday, while three infected have recovered. Presently 28 infected are being treated. According to the report of the Health Department, within the last 24 hours, 626 samples were tested in the state. In this, one infected person each was found in Dehradun and Rudraprayag districts. Most of the infected are in home isolation.

The Uttarakhand government has also become alert due to the new form of Corona cases increasing globally. To prevent corona infection in the state, it has been made mandatory to wear masks in crowded places from Friday. At the same time, RTPCR test has also been made necessary for the patients coming to the hospitals related to cold, fever and respiratory system.
