Gold and Silver Futures prices down

Gold and silver futures prices fell on Thursday. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) at 10:20 am on December 4, 2020, delivery gold was down by Rs 251, or 0.49 per cent, to Rs 51,082 per 10 grams. In the previous session, the gold price in December contract was at Rs 51,333 per 10 grams. In February 2021, the price of contracted gold was trending at Rs 51,166 per 10 grams, with a decrease of Rs 220 i.e. 0.43 per cent. In the previous session, the gold price in February contract was Rs 51,386 per 10 grams.

Silver Rate in Futures Market

On Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) at 10:21 pm, the silver price of December contract was down by Rs 743, or 1.17 per cent, to Rs 62,886 per kg. In the previous session, silver for December contract was trading at Rs 63,629 per kg. On the other hand, in March 2021, the contracted silver was trending at Rs 64,599 per kg with a decrease of Rs 708, or 1.08 per cent. On Wednesday, the price of March contract silver was at Rs 65,307 per kg.

Gold Rate in International Market

Prices globally, according to Bloomberg, gold for delivery in December was down by $ 12.60, or 0.65 per cent, at $ 1,916.90 an ounce on Comex. In the spot market, gold was trending at $ 1,914.69 an ounce, with a decrease of $ 9.64, or 0.50 per cent.

Silver Price in Global Market

On the Comex, the silver for December contract was trading at $ 24.94 an ounce, down $ 0.30, or 1.19 percent. On the other hand, in the spot market, silver for December contract was down by $ 0.17, or 0.68 per cent, at $ 24.88 an ounce.
