Advisory issued in Uttarakhand regarding H3N2 virus

Uttarakhand health department has also come in alert mode after H3N2 (influenza virus) cases were reported in different parts of the country. To save people from the outbreak of the virus, the health department has started taking precautionary measures. An advisory has also been issued regarding this.

Experts say that precautions are needed to prevent H3N2, there is no need to panic. In view of the high risk of this flu in people with weak immunity, the Health Department has advised them to avoid going to crowded areas.

Especially the patients of asthma and lung infection, the elderly, pregnant women and children have been advised to take more precautions to prevent this infection. Due to the weather, this infection can spread rapidly.

Due to this infection, people may suffer from diseases like cough, cold, fever, diarrhoea, vomiting and body ache. Masks and physical distance have been advised to prevent this. The general public has been asked to avoid crowded places.

  • High fever.
  • Cough lasting for a long time.
  • Increase in phlegm problem.
  • Nasal discharge

  • Nausea
  • loss of appetite
