Bookings open for Adi Kailash Yatra 2023; Yatra to begin from 4 May

The yatra to the famous Adi Kailash and Om Parvat  for 2023 season will begin from May 4. Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam (KMVN) has released the itinerary, route plan and rates. Along with this, online and offline booking of travel has also started.

7 night 8 day package till Adi Kailash and Om mountain

  • Adi Kailas Yatra 2023 will be conducted by KMVN from May 4 to November.
  • Two packages have been made for the passengers going on the trip.
  • In this, there is a package of seven nights and eight days from Kathgodam to Adi Kailas and Om Parvat located in Pithoragarh district, whose fare is Rs 45,000 per passenger.
  • While the package for four nights and five days to and fro from Dharchula (Pithoragarh) has been kept at Rs 35,000 per passenger.
  • This will include accommodation, food, transport guide etc. facilities from KMVN.
  • KMVN General Manager AP Bajpai informed that the booking process for the journey has been started.

40 travelers will be included in each team

  • 20 yatra teams will be sent in May and June.
  • Each batch will consist of 40 pilgrim.
  • Along with this, instructions have been given to the managers of all guest rest houses on the yatra route to make the yatra convenient and better.

Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Yatra brings a better opportunity every year for crores of devotees who have faith in Lord Shiva. In this journey, where on the one hand there are various temples and places of religious importance, on the other hand, natural beauty also remains the center of attraction for the travelers.

This will be the travel route

Adi Kailas Yatra will reach Gunji via Bhimtal, Kainchi, Almora, Chitai, Jageshwar, Pithoragarh, Jauljibi, Dharchula, Bundi, Chiyalekh, Napalchuy, Kalapani, Nabhidang, Om Parvat from Kathgodam.

After this, after visiting Nabi, Kuti, Jyolingkong (Adi Kailash and Parvati Sarovar), it will end in Kathgodam via Gunji, Budi, Dharchula, Didihat, Chaukori, Patal Bhubaneswar, Seraghat, Almora, Bhimtal.

Travelers will visit these places and temples

The devotees will visit Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj in famous Kainchi Dham, Almora Chitai Temple of Golju, the god of justice and Jageshwar Dham. There is a group of 125 grand temples here.

After this, after seeing the cave of Pandavas in Patal Bhubaneswar and Kali Mata in Gunji, you will also be able to see the cave of Maharishi Ved Vyas. From here the travelers will visit Om Parvat, Shesh Nag Parvat, Parvati Sarovar and Shiv Mandir etc.

Booking can be done offline at KMVN’s Public Relations Centers at Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Pune and Dehradun and Central Reservation Center (CRC) at Nainital and online from the corporation’s website. The corporation personnel will personally contact the travelers seeking information on the mail id of the corporation.
