Dehradun-Delhi Vande Bharat express begins regular operations from today

Train schedule of many trains changed

Vande Bharat Express will leave from Dehradun for Delhi at 7 am on Monday. For the operation of this semi-high speed train Vande Bharat Express, the Railways has changed the timings of many trains. Passengers are advised to reach the station only after checking the timings of the trains. PM Modi had flagged off the indigenously made train on May 25.

Runs on all days except Wednesday

Station Superintendent of Dehradun Railway Station Shashank Sharma said that the preparations for the operation of Vande Bharat had been completed. The train left for Anand Vihar Terminal from Dehradun at seven in the morning on Monday. It will run on all days except Wednesday.

This train running from Doon is the 18th Vande Bharat train of the country. Vande Bharat train has chair car i.e. chair car and executive chair car coaches.

Timings of many trains changed due to Vande Bharat

For the operation of semi high speed train Vande Bharat Express, Railways has changed the timing of many trains. In such a situation, while advising the passengers, the Railways said, reach the station only after seeing the timings of the trains.

Sudhir Singh, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Northern Railway, Moradabad Division said that earlier New Delhi Janshatabdi used to reach Dehradun at 9:15 pm, now it will reach Dehradun at 9:10 pm.

Similarly, there has been a change in the time of Upasana. This train, which started at 10:05 pm, will now leave from Doon at 9:45 pm. Mussoorie Express earlier used to run at 9:25 PM, now it will run at 9:20 PM.

Station Superintendent of Dehradun Railway Station Shashank Sharma said, due to the operation of Vande Bharat Express, the timings of almost all the trains coming from Doon to other cities of the country and other cities have been changed. Passengers are advised to reach the station a few minutes before, after checking the time table of the trains to avoid any hassle.
