Yellow alert for heavy rain in the state from today till July 31

There is a possibility of heavy rains in many areas of Dehradun, Chamoli and Bageshwar districts of Uttarakhand on Friday, while the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain for the entire state. According to the Meteorological Center, there is a yellow alert for heavy rains in the state from July 28 to 31.

Center director Bikram Singh said that there are chances of lightning and torrential rains in many areas of the state for the next few days. The department has warned that due to thunder and heavy rain, landslides are likely to block roads and highways in sensitive areas. In such a situation it is advised to travel only after getting accurate weather information.
